THATCHER, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Computer Department will offer Windows Operating Systems (CMP 113, section #1770) specifically for Windows Vista in the Spring 2009 semester. The class will be held on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. in High Tech Center Room #113.
EAC computer instructor, James McBride, will teach this three-credit class. He says, “Now that this class has upgraded to Windows Vista, you can learn all about Microsoft’s new operating system. It doesn’t matter whether you already have Vista, if you plan on upgrading, or if you just want to know if it’s worth upgrading, you’ll learn from this class.”
McBride recommends that all students have a basic knowledge of computers, but there are no other prerequisites for this class. He encourages anyone transitioning to Vista to enroll in the class because there are significant changes from the older versions of Windows.
