THATCHER, AZ—One of the many unique aspects of the nation’s community colleges is their ability to respond quickly to community needs with a variety of targeted course offerings.

In order to meet the requests for classes in a timely fashion and to react to changes in employment trends, Eastern Arizona College maintains a roster of qualified part-time instructors who can be called upon to teach for EAC. Currently, the College is looking for instructors in the area of Health Care Education who would be interested in teaching Pharmacy Tech and/or Pharmacy Calculations for the GIFT (Gila Institute for Technology) program.

EAC’s ITE (Industrial Technical Education) Division is seeking several new instructors in the areas of welding, auto paint and body, and machine shop for the Spring 2009 semester and may also be seeking a woodworking instructor beginning in the fall of 2009.

Specific teaching requirements for all adjunct faculty positions at EAC can be obtained by calling Pam Woods during regular business hours at 928-428-8261.
