THATCHER, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Music Department is offering community members a chance to continue to share their love of music in a choral setting. Symphonic Choir I (MUS133, Section #0574) meets Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the College’s Choir Room (FA-111).

This class will be taught by Michael Bradley, an EAC graduate and choir alumnus who currently teaches music at Pima High School.

Students will learn a variety of music repertoire, from classical choral literature to folk songs and broadway. “After being a part of EAC’s choral program myself, I am very excited for the opportunity to give back what my experience gave me,” said Bradley. “The class is designed for anyone with a love of music and a desire to share their voice.”

The class is geared toward community members, but anyone can register. Tuition for this one-credit class is $60 for in-state students. Students 55 and older receive an in-state tuition waiver. Many students will be able to add this class to their existing schedule without incurring additional charges.

Register now for this evening section of Symphonic Choir I, section #0574, by visiting www.eac.edu or calling the Records and Registration Office at (928) 428-8270.
