THATCHER, AZ—On Thursday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m., EAC’s Discovery Park Campus will present a reading of the children’s story, Seagraham Seal’s Perfect Gift , in its main lecture hall/classroom, the Jupiter Room.

The short story, written and presented by Discovery Park Campus Dean Harry Swanson, is timed to coincide with Mother’s Day. It is set in Valdez, Alaska, and describes the search by Seagraham Seal and his friend, Oscar Otter, for the perfect Mother’s Day gift.

“Your child will be delighted to learn that there are better gifts for their mothers than roses or candy. How about a nice, rich herring?” asks Swanson.

Best suited for kindergarten through sixth grade children, the short reading will last approximately one half hour. A personal copy of the story will be provided to each youngster. There is no cost for the program.

For more information, contact Swanson at 428-6260.
