THATCHER, AZ—Whether you are pursuing a transfer degree in Business Administration, Business Education, or an associate of applied science degree in Business, you can get a jump on your course requirements this summer with one of EAC’s online business classes. Introduction to Business (BUA101, #7115), Principles of Macroeconomics (BUA221, #7116), and Principles of Microeconomics (BUA223, #7106) will each be taught during the College’s first summer session which begins Tuesday, May 27, 2008. The three-credit courses will be taught in the convenient online format, which means students can take them from anywhere they have access to the Internet.

EAC business instructor Derek Rich will teach these courses, the first time they have been taught online or during the summer at EAC.

“We wanted to give our students additional options,” said Rich. “If a student can get a couple of these courses completed this summer, they will be that much further ahead when the fall semester begins.”

The two economics courses cover the laws of supply and demand, consumer behavior and cost, monopolies and oligopolies, the fiscal policy, the federal reserve, and monetary policy. The introduction to business course is an overview of business trends, competition in global markets, entrepreneurship, marketing, and business management.

To register, students can call the EAC Records and Registration Office at (928) 428-8270 or they can register online at www.eac.edu. Regular tuition and fees apply.

For more information about these courses, contact Rich at (928) 428-8432.
