THATCHER, AZ—EAC quilting instructor, Rebecca Post, issued a challenge to her students at the beginning of the semester: to use twelve strips of fabric with clowns on them and turn them into a baby quilt to be donated to the WeCare Crisis Pregnancy Center.

Several of her students took up the challenge and the result is a classroom full of brightly colored and very different quilts that express the immense talent and artistry of the class members.

The public is invited to stop by the Family and Consumer Resources Building on the Thatcher Campus during the regularly scheduled class times of 1-5 p.m. on Dec. 11-13, 2007.

Anyone in the community who is interested in taking a quilting class may do so online at www.eac.edu or by telephone at 428-8270. Spring 2008 classes begin on January 9.
