THATCHER, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Drama Department is planning a new presentation of an old Christmas favorite, Charles Dickens’ Christmas Carol. The performances are scheduled for November 18, 19, & 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the south-campus classroom/theatre #3. Admission to the event is free.

“Charles Dickens’ Christmas Carol, has been performed during this season for many years,” says the play’s director, Lee Russell, “It is as much a tradition as hot dogs and apple pie! It reminds us all of the value of every human life and the need for compassion.”

This production of Christmas Carolis performed as a piece of storytelling. This approach makes the theatre experience very personal for each audience member. Rather than seeing an elaborate set, period costumes, and detailed lighting, the audience will be allowed to create the world of Scrooge in their own minds; assisted by excellent storytellers.

For more information about the Nov. 18, 19, & 21 performances of Christmas Carol, call Russell at 428-8489.
