Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) with Veteran’s Business Outreach Center (VBOC) is sponsoring a one-day seminar, “Boots to Business: Reboot,” on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the EAC Academic Programs Building, Room #125.
Boots to Business: Reboot is designed to provide assistance to veterans exploring self-employment opportunities. This seminar leads attendees through the steps of evaluating business concepts and developing the foundational knowledge required for creating a business plan. Workshop participants will also be introduced to some of the Small Business Administration resources that are available to help access start-up capital.
Boots to Business: Reboot hosts presenters from all over the state who teach various training topics in all areas of business ownership, including introduction to business ownership, opportunity recognition, understanding the markets, the economics of small business start-up, picking the correct legal entity for a small business, technical assistance, and other resources to support small businesses.
All honorably discharged veterans and their spouses are eligible for the seminar. Registration is free and lunch will be provided.
