Thatcher, AZ—Brahms’ Cello Sonata in e minor for String Orchestra class Eastern Arizona College associate professor, Chase Moore, and visiting artist Collin Vice (B.M. in Cello Performance, Eastern Kentucky University) performed last week for Franklin Alvarez’ String Orchestra class.

Vice also offered a masterclass earlier in the day that focused on helping students prepare college audition pieces.

“It is always a pleasure to collaborate with friends, and to tackle such a demanding piece for both piano and cello! We hope the students and faculty enjoyed it,” said Moore.

Moore will be debuting his first solo recital this February 13, at 7:30 p.m., in the Lee Little Theatre. He will be performing works by Bach, Beethoven, Haydn, Brahms, Rachmaninov, Chopin, and Cowell and he wishes to invite the entire community to come and enjoy his interpretations of these great works.
