EAC students to speak at BLM Lecture Series event

Thatcher, AZ—Two interns from the Eastern Arizona College-Safford Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Partnership, Amber Caldwell and Clancy Schmidt, will speak at the BLM’s lecture series event on Thursday, December 8, at noon, in the BLM Safford Office, located at 711 14th Avenue. Admission to this event is free.

Caldwell will address fluvial geomorphology of the Gila and San Francisco rivers, based on research conducted by the EAC-BLM Partnership Intern Program. Schmidt will speak on Rabbit Farm Highlights of the November 2016 EAC-BLM Youth Day held at the San Simon Valley Project Site.
