Thatcher, AZ—In their continued efforts to help every business in our community, Eastern Arizona College’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is offering a free seminar, “Let’s Put Our Cities on the Map with Google,” on Friday, December 9, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Graham County Chamber of Commerce.

“Four out of five consumers use search engines to find local information nearby, yet only 37% of businesses have claimed their listing on a search engine,” says Emily Harris, Manager of Google’s Let’s Put Our Cities on the Map Program. “Small businesses are the engine of local economies and when they flourish, their communities do as well.”

To encourage this growth, SBDC has joined with Google to help local business get online and on the map because businesses that are online grow 40% faster than those that aren’t.

EAC’s SBDC invites all business owners to attend the workshop, not only to check their business listing, but to receive free prizes, food, and handouts.

This seminar is free and no registration is required. To learn more visit SBDC or contact the EAC Small Business Development Center at (928) 428-8590 or by email at Kevin Peck.
