Eastern Arizona College’s Languages Department is offering three personal interest courses using the popular Rosetta Stone software package:
ENG095, Interactive English Lab, section number #9028 (one credit), #9031 (two credits), and #9061 (three credits);
SPA090, Interactive Spanish Lab, section #9077 (one credit), #9078 (two credits), and #9082 (three credits); and
FRE090, Interactive French Lab, section #9080 (one credit), #9081 (two credits), and #9079 (three credits).
These open entry/open exit developmental language classes can be taken as one, two, or three credit courses. In these classes, students are able to begin and end whenever they’d like within the semester and can be completed any time through the end of the fall semester.
“These Interactive Language Labs are designed for students who would like to further develop English, Spanish, or French language skills using the Rosetta Stone language software,” says EAC Spanish instructor, Bryan McBride. “The Language Lab is open over 25 hours a week and students may work on the program anytime the lab is open and now, for the first time ever, each student will be provided with login information so that they may access the software from anywhere wifi is available.”
EAC French instructor, Tonka Curtis said, “This Rosetta Stone software is not like your grandma’s language software! It’s highly engaging and interactive and makes languages fun!”
