Thatcher, AZ— Auditions for Eastern Arizona College’s Intermediate Children’s Theater will be held on Thursday, August 13, and Friday, August 14, from 4 – 5:30 p.m. in the College’s Activities Center-Lee Little Theater.

“We will be performing Oztenatious – The True Story of Dorothy Gale. This is an original musical written by Jason Whetten; it is full of fun characters, fun music, twists and turns, and laughs,” said Penny Whetten, the play’s director.

All students between the ages of 11 and 16 are encouraged to audition. The show will be performing September 23 – 26.

Students should come to auditions prepared to sing, and will need to provide their own accompaniment, or sing a cappella. A piano will be available.

Everyone who auditions will receive a part. There is a $15 fee for all children who are involved. The fee is due at auditions. Whetten encourages all interested kids to come and audition. For more information, contact Whetten call (928) 651-0363.
