Thatcher, AZ— After sold out performances and standing ovations in November, Eastern Arizona College’s production of “Pump Boys and Dinettes” is coming back for a short, two-performance run on Friday, February 6, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 2 p.m.
As local audiences will remember, “Pump Boys and Dinettes” is a charming musical revue packed with entertaining country music, including hits like “Highway 57,” “Serve Yourself,” “Be Good or Be Gone,” and “Farmer Tan.” The show features book, music, and lyrics by John Foley, Mark Hardwick, Debra Monk, Cass Morgan, John Schimmel, and Jim Wann. With stage direction and choreography by Steven James Higginbotham, EAC’s drama director.
Admission is $3/person and tickets are available at the EAC Ticket Office at 928-428-8228 and will be available at the door.
After the shows, the whole production will load up in vans and travel to perform at this year’s Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) for Region VIII in St. George, Utah.
