Thatcher, AZ—The paintings and drawings of four Eastern Arizona College art students will be on display in the College’s Activities Center lobby (open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily) from Friday, February 13, through Friday, March 27, 2015.

The opening of the show, entitled “Making our Mark,” is scheduled for Friday, February 13, from 6-8 p.m. It will be a semi-formal event and is open to the public with light refreshments being served.

“Each year, the Art Department hosts a show comprised of pieces done by our graduating art majors. These pieces represent the best examples of work the students have completed while enrolled in the program at EAC,” says EAC art instructor and Art Department chair, Kenny Rhodes. “The work is in a variety of media including etching, drawing, and oil painting. This year, the featured artists are Shannon Olivas-Montez, Dani Sandoval, Raenell Sollers, and Ariel Thatcher-Webb. These four people are talented art majors, who will be graduating this spring.”
