EAC offering a new science class this fall

Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Biology Department will offer a new class this semester. Topics in Science, BIO101F, section #0637, will be offered on Tuesday evenings from 6-8 p.m., in the Math/Science Building, Room #404. Instructed by Mike McCarthy, the class will cover topics such as Mt. Graham, forests and grazing, erosion, ozone depletion/acid rain, global warming, energy for the future, theory of evolution, continental/plate tectonics, lifestyle choices, DNA fingerprinting, continental drift, and endangered species/extinction.

“This is a fun and informative class,” explains McCarthy. “It’s presented in a format that the average individual will understand and covers topics that run the gambit of our lives.”
