EAC offers Introduction to Robotics course

Thatcher, AZ—Beginning this fall, Eastern Arizona College’s Physics Department will offer a new course in robotics. The course is titled PHY298F, Introduction to Robotics, section #6042.

This course, taught by John Ratje, will give students experiences in technology that include mechanical assembly, electrical connections, and how to program a robot. It will be articulated for transfer as an elective credit to any university in Arizona.

“Robots are part of modern life. Anything that is dirty or dangerous can be done by robots now,” says EAC physics instructor, Madhuri Bapat. “Come and explore the limitless opportunities in the future of humanity.”
