Regularly monitor visitor use and provide pubic information and assistance. Maintain the developed recreation sites in the area which includes trash pickup and maintaining facilities and assist with the development and installation of new outdoor recreation facilities. Other duties include working with other specialists on wildlife, hydrology and range projects. This position involves occasional lifting of equipment and supplies. A general knowledge of land use planning and other natural resource programs is expected. Fieldwork in the desert southwest may involve adverse conditions. This position requires a full work-day, the day can be arranged with BLM.
