Minimum Computer Requirements for EacStudentNet
If you own a computer and are planning to bring it to campus, it should meet certain requirements to
function effectively with EacStudentNet.
Supported Operating Systems and recommended minimum hardware requirements
Windows XP Service Pack 1 or greater:
- 1GHz Intel or AMD processor
- 256MB of RAM
- 1GB of available hard disk space
- 10/100baseT Ethernet network card for wired connections and/or 802.11b/g wireless
network card for campus wireless hotspots
Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 or greater:
- 733MHz Intel or AMD processor
- 256MB of RAM
- 1GB of available hard disk space
- 10/100baseT Ethernet network card for wired connections and/or 802.11b/g wireless network card for campus wireless hotspots
Mac OS X version 10.3 or greater:
- 800MHz PowerPC G4
- 256MB of RAM
- 1GB of available hard disk space
- 10/100baseT Ethernet network card for wired connections and/or 802.11b/g wireless network card for campus wireless hotspots
