Hello! My name is Whitney and I am from Safford, AZ. I have lived here my whole life, so going to EAC feels like home. I will be graduating in general studies, and I plan on getting my undergrad in Communications, and then a Masters in Student Affairs. I like pizza and sticky notes.

Born and Raised in a small town called Rose Park in Salt Lake City, Utah. I Graduated from West High School then Served a LDS full time mission in the Philippines. I was taught by my parents the meaning of respect and also to be grateful for what I have. After my mission I attended Utah State University where I was chosen to be a part of Presidents cabinet. I was recruited by Coach Omera to play football for EAC and here I am. I am pretty easy going and always up for a chocolate chip cookie baking contest. Oh, and if you see a short, Tongan football player with long curly hair, say hi to him. He is cool too. Lol

ASEAC Executive Assistant

open quote

March 28, 1994. Mt Graham Regional Medical Center. Safford, Arizona. A babe was born by the name of Jarom. A shy, but somewhat witty child, he slowly gained the confidence of his peers. Many would come to consider him a friend, though not much more than that. They respected him. Some learned to fear him. Others let that fear smolder into a deep abiding hatred. But this was not a problem for our Jarom. He couldn’t care less about the thoughts of those heathens. No, he kept his eyes on the important things. Those things that really matter in this world. In fact, one of his greatest desires is for others to come to this same sense of euphoric completeness that he has achieved. Follow him, and he will lead you to greatness.

I was born and raised in Miami, Arizona. This is my second year at EA and I have loved every second of it! Right now, I am majoring in general studies, but when I transfer to a university next year, I will major in Philosophy and eventually continue to law school. Right now, I want to work to help every student feel comfortable at EAC and love their time here as much as I have! Find me around campus if you ever need help with anything or you're just looking for someone to hang out with! Cheers to the best year yet.

James Self

James Self
ASEAC Service Coordinator

open quote

I am James Self and I am from the wonderful town of Holbrook Arizona. I am currently in my fourth semester here at Eastern Arizona College where I am studying Pre-Med. I decided to get involved with ASEAC because I love making a difference and I wanted a chance to help my fellow students have a fulfilling college experience beyond the purely academic. I have discovered that when my social life is healthy and I have ample opportunity to give back to the community through service, my grades improve dramatically. As Service Coordinator this year, my goal is to help provide the student body with those opportunities to serve in the hope that they will learn the value of reaching out to those around them.

I was born and raised in Coolidge, Arizona. I bathed in mud and ran around like a heathen child; my mom says not much has changed. When I grow up I want to be a Biology teacher, which is why I am in the Secondary Education program. I plan to graduate from EAC this May with my Associates Degree. I love to have fun and helping others to have a great time, which is why I ran for ASEAC Publicity Coordinator. I love it! Let me know if you ever need help!
