Visiting EAC
Eastern Arizona College truly must be experienced in person to
fully appreciate its unique character. Our small size, pastoral
setting, and diverse student body create an atmosphere unlike anyplace
else you will find in Arizona. In fact, at first glimpse of the
campus, lined with sycamores and evergreens and framed by the Gila
and Pinaleno Mountains, you'll feel this is a place you can call
home. But before drawing any conclusions, we encourage you to look
beneath the surface. Meet with an admission counselor, take a walking
tour, attend a class, talk with students and instructors. We know
that the closer you look, the more you will come to realize that
the "Eastern Experience" may be just what you're searching
for.

Thatcher
During your visit, you should plan to meet with an admission counselor
to learn more about Eastern's academic programs, campus activities,
residential life, and admission and financial aid procedures. To
schedule an appointment Monday through Friday, we recommend that
you call at least one week prior to your planned visit. During the
fall months, call as far in advance as possible, as our counselors
are frequently away visiting schools during this period.
You may also want to sit in on a class or meet with a faculty member
from your field of interest. Such an experience will allow you to
compare Eastern's academic programs to those at other colleges you
may be considering. You will also lay the groundwork for future
relationships with advisors at Eastern.
While weekday visits are encouraged to experience the full flavor
of campus life, Saturday campus tours may be arranged on an individual
basis.
A walking tour of the campus, conducted by a current EAC student,
gives you a chance to see Eastern through the students' eyes. Tours
last approximately one hour and may be scheduled by calling the
Admissions Office.

To get a true picture of what Eastern Arizona College has to offer,
come to one of our three Preview Days

about college life, a tour of campus, an EAC Fine Arts Preview,
dinner, and a major athletic event or fine arts performance.
All of the day's activities will be at our expense, so all
you have to do is come and enjoy the experience.
